Another great hidden tool from Google is a free OCR tool, and the best is it works on Hebrew to.
You can use in two Google apps.1.Google Drive
1.upload a file
2.click open with
3.choose Google Docs
That’s it google will covert your PDF or image into text2.Google Keep
1.drag or add an image into the ‘Take a note’ box
2.Click on More
3.choose ‘Grab image text’
Done google will paste the text underneath the original image -

another amazing thing they do is OCR for images and pdf files in email attachments, so if you search for a word that appears as a image in gmail, it will find that attachment.

I don’t think it searches in images, only PDF files, and for PDF I don’t think you need OCR technology for that, the same way you can edit a PDF file with acrobat pro

@Chocolate I have experienced it scanning images and pdf files that are not text based (scans).
