Just an update on the previous post:
I exchanged the sony headphones for the jabra ones.
The Jabra Elite 85h are not bad, however they have a few cons compared to the sony ones:
They are not as comfortable as the sony ones. If you look at the way they’re built, you will understand what I mean…
Their noise cancelling as well as their sound quality is nothing to compare to the sony ones
But there are some pros to the jabra ones, which makes the decision really hard…
The are Bluetooth 5 compared to sony which are BT 4.2
The connection range of the jabra ones are much better
The jabra ones support two devices connected simultaniously which the sony don’t support…
The Jabra headphones have top quality mics, which give an amazing call quality experience… I went on a walk yesterday and I spoke to someone for about half hour and it was a noisy main road, but the call quality was amazing (I used a kosher Nokia 2720 4g Flip phone)
The jabra modell has better battery life then the sony (Jabra 36h vs Sony 30h)
The Jabra ones come with solid buttons to control calls and music vs sony that uses a very useless touchpad…
All in all it really depends what you’re going to use them for… I personally decided to move back to Sony as I don’t really care so much about the battery life, simultanious connection and BT version… However the sound quality is a concern and the call quality is definitely something to consider… The button controls is also something to think about…
I hope it helps someone at least, as I really couldn’t make my mind up so I had to test both of them side by side…
