Playing Videos on Canon Cameras

Hi, does anyone know how I can possibly watch any video on my Canon G7X?
Is there any specific format that only the cameras recognizes?

@ctrlaltdel As far as I remember the camera adds a lot of extra EXIF data, you can try copying it and see if that helps.

If I remember correctly Canon has some kind of utility that can convert pictures and videos so you can see them on your camera.
