What is privacy.com and how does it help?
-
@DovidStroh Basically it let’s you generate virtual credit cards that you can lock for a one time use, or for a specific amount.
-
@TroubleMaker So in this case you would set it at 0?
also: how secure is it? how much does it cost? -
@DovidStroh Been using it the last two years and very happy!
It doesn’t cost anything, and they charge my debit card.
For trials you’ll usually need a $1 card because they validate when starting a trial if there’s money on the card.

Im pretty sure it only works with their credit cards but you can try to check in your account if you have such an option
-
if you need more than 10 images you can always create another account with them using another email address and get an additional 10 image
p.s. the reason you never saw it was because they just started offering it…
-
If you need free images but don’t need a huge selection, unsplash.com is great
-
@TroubleMaker do you know of a UK version to privacy.com thank you

Check out https://www.revolut.com/ I don’t know what they do I just googled it.

@TechWiz I’ve been a user of Revolut for quite a while and I recently got a notification that they launched in the US. It’s amazing what they offer! One down side to it is, that for privat users (which are for free) you can only do stuff on their iOS or Android app (no windows or browser app). For bsuiness clients you can manage stuff via via browser but that type of account isn’t for free.
