Viewing videos on Canon cameras

Hi
I am trying to find a way to take a video from my computer and be able to play it on my Canon camera, I searched on Google and saw people writing something about an THM file, see https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/2762399
but I don’t see my camera creating those files, does anyone have another solution?

Did you try seeing what format Canon records Videos and try converting your file to the same format?
