Recover Contacts from Samsung A7 2018 with broken Screen
-
Hi Everyone
A Samsung A7 2018 with Android 10 on it was brought to me with a cracked screen. Unfortunately the contacts on the phone weren’t backed up to any online account like gmail for example. The screen is totally black and I can’t see anything. USB Debugging mode is disabled on the device and I can’t turn it on, as the screen isn’t responding and I can’t see anything either.
The only solution so far that might work, is to order a MHL to HDMI adapter and that way see what I’m doing.
Does anyone know of a tool that can bypass the usb debugging option on a Android 10 device, so I could recover the contacts from the phone?Answers are greatly appreciated!!

@DavidG I solved it with a hub which converts usb c to hdmi and also supports usb input. So I connected the phone to a screen and plugged in a mouse to the usb port and I could see and do what ever I needed!
There is some software around which can get around the encryption by rebooting and accessing the ROM but only for certain Samsung devices. There are various tools that follow the same idea for those devices… -

You mean by flashing TWRP? that should work, no?

You can’t flash a custom recovery without unlocking the bootloader which wipes the phone.
