@volvo It can be done with most of the Remote Desktop Programs,
Google for “remote desktop over LAN” and you’ll find loads of ways to do it.
Stealth remote desktop?
-
Was wandering if anyone knows of a free remote desktop program that I can run in stealth mode, so when I connect to the computer there shouldn’t be any popups etc. notifying the user that I’ve connected.
-
You are basically looking for a type of malware… most legitimate tools can’t afford to allow something like this, and certainly not a free solution.
Don’t forget that if you can use it, bad actors can use the tool as well and then the auther/company will be blamed.

@Knaper-Yaden
and for a price does such a think exist?
or maybe a program that I can see screenshots of the remote device? -
Paid solutions will probably have such an option, but it might be advanced stuff to set up.
Again, what you are looking for is malicious behavior, and while of course there are programs that do it, I don’t think any of them from legitimate companies.

looks like Ultra VNC might be what your’e looking for. never actually tried it but this is what it sounds like from searching around.

@Volvo The IP and Port that you use to reach it (if it is not on the local network then you will need to set up port forwarding on the router).

@DovidStroh said in Stealth remote desktop?:

what does it mean and how do I do that?

The 2 computers are in different locations so what do I do?
-
@Volvo What router are you using?
-
Archer VR400

Now I have another issue when I try to install it on the client computer I get an error
Internal error: Failed to get path of 64-bit Common Files directory.
any ideas? -
you have 2 steps.
- designating a static IP.
- port forwarding.
open a chat so I’ll help you set it up remotely. will be much easier then going back and forth here.

I sent you thanx
